Greetings!.

I am trying hard to solve one problem using one calculated Member to
a measure, but still not worth it. Can you look at the scenario and
tell me where and how I should proceed? Here is the task.. I have a
quotation fact table and time dimension. In the time dimension, I
have year, half year, quarterly, month, week of the month and day
levels.

In my quote table, I have a quotation which has a measure say
QuoteAmount. In a week itself, I might have quote getting changed 3
times.. I want to process all these three records in the cube, but I
need a calculated measure which will pick only the latest record
(based on date).. 's measure value.

In summary, if I have 3 records for a quote, I should get 200 $

QID Date Description Amount
P1 20030101 Toyota $400
P1 20030102 Toyota - windscreen $300
P1 20030103 Toyota - windscreen $200

Please let me know as early as possible
