Default HTTP Connection for MSOLAP (IIS server on a seperate box) - 09-19-2003 , 04:03 PM






I am enabling MSOLAP for HTTP connection. However - I have a web based
frontend located in DMZ.

I would like to enable MSOLAP for the IIS server installed on the
frontend box as opposed to the IIS server installed on the MSOLAP box.

I found the following posting by Mosha. I would appreciate it if
someone could give me the steps / article to achieve this.


"The DMZ scenario where Web server front end and Analysis server
reside on
different machines (and on different networks) will be enabled in the
forthcoming service pack SP3.
