How are stored OLAP databases on HDD - 10-15-2006 , 03:19 PM

Hi

I'm intrested how are stored difrent OLAP databases (mainly MOLAP) on
HDD - I mean are there hash tables etc.

I would be very pleased if someone could give me link to an article
about this or just a hint where to look for it.

I need this informationf for a project on my studies.
