Default How to start/stop AS2005 service using AMO or XMLA ? - 06-19-2006 , 09:49 AM

Anyone know how to start/stop AS2005 service using AMO ? With DSO in AS2000
it could be done by manipulating Server.ServiceState but I don't see an AMO
equivalent. Any clues ?

I think you are right, I don't think you can do this from AMO. But you
should be able to use the ServiceController component.

Yep, that works. I guess the ServiceController class is the right thing to
use here. Thanks.
