Default How to run Stored Procedure from within Excel - 05-07-2004 , 06:59 AM

Hi !

I have stored procedure for cube processing made in DTS. For some reason I
want to execute procedure from within Excel with one button. I've tried
unsuccesfully to record a macro to do this. Does anybody knows the VBA code
who can do that.
(Excel 2002, 2K, OLAP)

any idea appreciated
Regards,
Vlado Kaligari

(sorry for english)

You can run a DTS package by forking out a new process with the command line
"dtsrun" -- see BOL for the various options you have available.
