I've created a cube which contains linked measure groups from 4 other smaller
cubes. Its a migration of a 'virtual cube' from AS2000. Each of the smaller
cubes contains a number of partitions, at least one of which is processed.
Therefore all 4 of the smaller cubes contain data and are 'browseable'.
However, if I want to process the main cube it always wants to process ALL of
the unprocessed partitions in the linked measure groups (regardless of which
processing option is chosen) . This is extremely annoying because I want to
see what the main cube looks like on a subset of data, without having to wait
(in my case 7 hours) for the full process to happen.

Does anyone know how I can get to view my 'virtual' cube without doing a
full reprocess. In AS2000 it was possible to process a virtual cube without
having to process all the partitions of the underlying cubes. Have we gone
backwards ?
