Default How do you create a create a cube dimension in DSO? - 04-13-2005 , 07:38 AM

Hello Everyone,

I have successfully created a shared dimension using DSO. Microsoft made
this easy with their "Adding a Parent-Child Dimension to a Database" example
code.

But now I need to use DSO to either add my shared dimension to an existing
fact table, or create my dimension within the existing fact table.

Can anyone point me to or provide an example for how to do this in DSO?

Hi Bob,

There is a sample that comes with AS2K in the Samples folder that is a DSO
VB application. This sample creates dimensions and adds the dimensions to a
cube.
