Default How do I suppress blank /zero rows? - 06-17-2004 , 08:18 AM

I have an Excel speadsheet attached to a cube.
The cube consists of
Measures.Sales
Measures.Cost
Measures.Cost/Sale (calculated)

Dimensions:
PublicationName
PublicationDate

Question: There are many Publication rows in the Excel spreadsheet that have
only zeros/blanks for all the measures.
The user wants to automatically suppress them. Can I do this at the cube
end?

Thanks,
S.Kumar

In Excel if you right click on a field in the PivotTable and choose Field
Settings menu item, there should be a check box labeled Show items with no
data. Unchecking this should do the trick.

Matt,
That setting is dimmed out for me and not changeable.
What am doing wrong?

I'm not an expert on the PivotTable, but it looks like it automatically
shows only non-empy when connecting to an AS cube.
