Default How do I convert an id to a text dimension in analysis 2005 - 10-06-2006 , 01:10 AM

In analysis services 2000 I used to create dimensions off a singe
column in the fact table(id, etc) and I would use a case statement for
the column name property like WHEN (fact.id) = 1 THEN True, Else,
False, etc. This way I didn't really have to create a new dimension
table, etc. I have just started playing around with 2005 and I have
not seen where I can do this. I saw where I could show a different
column name in the properties, but it would not let me type in any
condition, etc. What is the best way to do this in 2005?

Thanks!

In DSV you can create named calculation and you can set that column as
name column.
