Hi all, I'm fairly new to both Analysis Server and ASP.NET programming and am having problems getting an ASP.NET application connected to an Analysis Server data source. I've been reading up about ADOMD.NET and XMLA and impersonation and honestly am in over my head. Can someone explain to me, in the simplest terms possible, how to get connected. The environment that my solution needs to work in is... The Analysis Server is my Production SQL Server running SQL 2k Enterprise Edition. It does not, and will not, have IIS running. I'm trying to add functionality to an existing ASP.NET web application which is set up to "Allow Anonymous Access" and the account used for anonymous access is IUSR_<machine> which I'm told that, for security reasons, I'm not allowed to change. Both the AS box and web server are running Windows 2000 and have the most recent service packs and such. Given the above how can I get connected? TIA. Gutz |
