Default How to change startup account ID for Analysis Services on Win2000 Professional? - 04-08-2004 , 05:11 PM

Hi,

I am running Analysis Services on Windows 2000 Professional and am
using that to process a cube on a remote SQL Server 2000. I would like
to change the "startup account" of my local Analysis Services from the
LocalSystemAccount to a domain account.

However, it seems that Analysis Services is not under "Services" in
Admin Tools in Win 2000 Professional. Can anyone tell me how do I
change the startup account?

Thanks.

MSSQLServerOLAPService under services
You can change the logon there.

Hi,

The problem is I don't have "MSSQLServerOLAPService" under services.
Does anyone know if this is normal in a Win 2000 Professional
installation of Analysis Services? If yes, then where else can I
change the startup account ID?

Thanks.
