Default HOLAP Storage option - 12-08-2004 , 10:21 AM

I am tearing my hair out trying to get a cube working in Analysis Services
2000. I have built another cube and it works and I was able to select HOLAP
for the storage option.

The new cube is similar, but I am only able to select ROLAP for the storage
option, MOLAP and HOLAP are both disabled. As the data for both cubes comes
from the same SQL 2000 database, I need to select HOLAP for both cubes, as
the aggregations need to be stored separately from the data. What could be
causing this...?

Having not bothered to set any storage for this cube, I can still process it
and browse the data? Is this right?

If I select the storage option again, I still see the wizard to set up
storage not the one to update it, as appears for my other cube where I have
set it up, so I don't think storage has been defined in this cube.

Thanks...
