I have a level in a dimension that I want to be hidden from end users, but I
want to reference it in MDX of a report (Crystal), or at least use it in a
calc-member. I thought setting Visible = False would do this, but now I can't
reference the level from MDX.

Two questions:
1) Is there a way to hide the level from users when are browsing the cube,
but have it accessible in MDX?

2) If the Visible = False setting prevents you from accessing the
aggregations calculated on the hidden dimension level, how is it used?
