Default HideMemberIf and bad performance in AS2005 - 07-11-2006 , 08:51 AM

Hello,

Has anyone else noticed the problem below? I hope someone has a solution to the problem...

I'm building a cube in AS2005. In one of my dimensions I have created a hierarchy with 7 levels and on each level I have set the property "HideMemberIf" = "NoName".

The problem is that it takes a looooong time to browse the dimension. Just to expand the "All" level takes more than 1 minute! I don't understand why it takes so long time - the dimension only has 52 members in total. I have tried changing "HideMemberIf" to "ParentsName" and this way the performance is OK. However I want to use "HideMemberIf" = "NoName".

Does anyone have any idea on how to solve the problem?

Thank you in advance.

Best Regards,
Frederick
