Default Help - Problem connecting from Excel - 04-19-2004 , 09:46 AM

I currently have a couple of cubes on an analysis server. I would like users to view through excel. I am able to successfully connect to the cube from my desktop, however, when I go to a targeted users desktop, I am unable to connect. I installed the add-in, but when I go to "new database query", a new query window appears (actually, it shows minimized, will not maximize, and the only way I can see it is if I go to task manager and click "switch to") and I cannot do anything with the new query window. It won't let me click anywhere and gives me the "ding" everytime I try and click on it. It's strange because on my PC, it goes straight to the "choose data source" dialog. But the user's goes to the new database query window and, like I said, is unresponsive

Both platforms (mine and the users) are running Windows 2000 with Excel 2000. Mine works great, the users is acting bizarre as mentioned above

Any thoughts??

Thanks for any help you can provide.
