When creating a dimension in Analysis Services I am receiving the
following error:

Unable to browse the dimension 'New Dimension' Provider cannot be
found. It may not be properly installed.

Is this an error fixed by Service Pack 3 or am I missing something
else.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi,

This looks like an old version of Msolap80.dll, installing sp3 will upgrade
this to the 8.00.760 version. Make sure that it's the correct version.
