Default Hardware sizing... - 09-25-2004 , 03:17 AM

How different is sizing an AS from a normal SQL server installation. Have
seen an article regarding this at some point - some
recommendations regarding placing logs on a certain disk ...

Does anybody have any links to litterature or advice ?

Various recommendations are spread out through the Analysis Services
Performance and Operations Guides white papers. See:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../ansvcspg.mspx
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/pro.../anservog.mspx
We talk about SANs, RAID architectures, memory usage; cpu usage, etc.
