Hi, Is it possible to group calculated members (perhaps in Folders) ? I have over 70 calculated members and this is a long list, for which I have to scroll for seeing the dimensions after them. Thanks Hans |

hi, Yes in MS SQL Server 2005 you can group measures in folders. Select the measures and simply type the name of the folder in the properties window so that all related measures have the same folder. Hi Hans, The location of "Calculation Properites" icon is not too intuitive, but it is on the toolbar of Calculations tab: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189712.aspx Calculation Properties Dialog Box (Analysis Services) Use the Calculation Properties dialog box in Business Intelligence Development Studio to view or edit the display folder and associated measure group properties of calculations defined on the Calculations tab in Cube Designer for the selected cube. You can display the Calculation Properties dialog box by clicking Calculation Properties on the Toolbar pane on the Calculations tab in Cube Designer. .. - Deepak Deepak Puri Microsoft MVP - SQL Server *** Sent via Developersdex http://www.developersdex.com *** |
