Default Flexible Date DIM - 12-17-2003 , 12:01 PM

I have a standard date DIM used in many cubes. It has
Year > Qtr > Month > Week > Day.

The newest cube I have finished is an InventoryValuation
cube which takes a snap shot on inventory levels once a
month. Since the data is always going to be monthly is
there anyway I can specify that in this cube the lowest
level of the date DIM should be month? I would like to due
this without having to create a seperate Date DIM .

Thanks for the help

-mike

Mike, a shared dim can have different granularity in different cubes. This
is accomplished by disabling level(s) within the cube editor.
