That is easy. SQL Server 64-bit was first released on a SP3 code base. So
there never was a version prior to SP3. So it really depends on if you've
ever installed a service pack on it. If not, then it is at SP3. If you have
installed a service pack then it is at SP4. If you are looking for a
specific build#, then follow the guidelines listed in the AS Operations
Guide,
