Default Feature Request : OLAP Scribe utility - 02-04-2004 , 01:02 AM

Hi All,

I tried my hands at the OLAP Scribe Utility.
I would like to have the following features also...

1) The security information of different user groups - MDX
Used in the Dimension and Cell Security (Details from
Manage Roles Section)

2) A JPG Picture depicting the Cube Schema...
Guess I am asking for more

Cheers,
Sanka

Isn't it a great tool? I love it.

OLAP Scribe (available at:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en)
is an unsupported utility. If you'd like new features, have at it! Source is
included.
If you make a change and would like to share it with the community, you can
pass it to me and I'd be glad to repost a new version. But it is not
something that Microsoft plans to enhance -- it is up to the community from
here :-)

Dave-
Thank you for pointing this tool out. Documenting OLAP cube structures
has been so tedious, especially creating Data Dictionary's and User
Guides that need to explain what is in each dimension.

This is very easy and great to use.

Thanks again
