Hello, All!

I need urgent help. My project is almost successfully finished. But one
bug is still undecided.

Problem description:

Used technology: MS AS 2k + SP2 as OLAP server, Crystal Analysis 9 as
client.

Cube: Contains several ragged hierarchies dimension and several measures
based on the ParallelPeriod function.

When I browse this cube with excel or MDX sample aplication all works
fine. But if I browse this cube with Crystal Analysis 9 I see only empty
cells.

When I use Data Browser from MS AS Analysis Manager I see in these cells
#Error.

As I understood the problem is MDX Compatibility level. How can I
influence on this parameter (WHERE? on the server or on the client side
and HOW?). Maybe somebody
already solve this problem.

You can set the MDX compatibilty level in the connection string of your
application or on the server in

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Olap Server\CurrentVersion\MDXCompatibilityValue.

Thank you for response. I know about this option. By default it sets to
1.
That is why MDX Sample application and Excel can work normaly.

But I realy can't understand why cube browser in ms as 2k analysis
manager
and Crystal Analysis can't use it. Maybe there are some tricks for this
or
something like that.
