Hi,
from my understanding you need the Pivot Table Services installed on your PC
to get access to a cube. I don't know any other version of PTS than the
"normal" Windows versions, so there is no way to get in contact to a cube
with a non-Windows machine.
This might change when XML/A get more common (with Yukon), but I don't know
much about that, i.e. if this is only a protocoll (what would make sense) or
it's a replacement for PTS, too (which I wouldn't believe)...
