Hi John, the reason why sometimes you see the SQL statements going to the SQL Server and sometimes you don't is that Analysis Server caches the data. If your subsequent queries can be answered from the data in cache, there is no need for the analysis server to issue a SQL query to the SQL Server. I am not able to see the SQL Statements that get issued to SQL Server (sometimes I get those). I am using the SQL Server profiler and I have cleared the cache also using DBCC DROPCLEANBUFFERS. Any insights ? Thanks, John |
