We have a cube on a server with excel functions in an MDX calculated member. This works OK when building the cube or querying the cube if the client is another PC, but if you use Analysis Manager on the server it fails because it cannot understand the excel function call. Can you explain why, and how to fix this. |

Yes it is, but I don't know if it was installed before or after Analysis Services, it is from Office10. What really confuses me is why this setup works when the client is another PC. I expected this feature to be server dependant and client independant. "Ohjoo Kwon" wrote: Is excel installed on the server?
