Hi,

In June this year, I raised a case with Microsoft regarding a problem with
the Cube Analysis add-in. I was experiencing crashes of Excel when I moved
the mouse over the Browse/Search pane.

After a bit of experimenting, I found that this only happened when the cube
I was querying was configured with a Case Sensitive, Accent Sensitive
collation. Microsoft accepted that this was a bug and said I needed to wait
for a fix.

I can well imagine there is a lot on for the development team at Microsoft.
Question is whether or not a fix for this problem is in the works, or should
I go looking for an alternative link between Excel and an AS2005 cube? Can
anyone advise?
