Default Excel, Can't see cubes - 02-24-2005 , 03:04 AM





Hi !

I've installed AS sp3 on WIN 2003 server. Now everybody in my company
can connect to the cubes through Excel, but one. This machine ( XP ,
Excel 2003) is as others, so it seems it couldn't be any difference
but...

After <Import External Data> , <New Database Query> .... Excel gives
FoodMart 2000 with no displayed cubes to select. I tried to install
PTS full ... no results.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a problem with the Cube/Database roles. Are you sure you
have the particular user has appropriate access rights / is not ommited
from the role list?
