Default Excel Addin for OLAP and SSAS 2005 on W2K3: server is either not started or too busy - 07-03-2006 , 04:34 PM

Hi,
I'm running SSAS 2005 on W2K3. On this test server, I've also installed
Excel + Add-in for OLAP but I can't open a connection to SSAS from Excel. I
always got "server is either not started or too busy".
Any idea?
Could anyone also lend me to how configure HTTP access to SSAS 2005?
Thanks

Franck

Two things that I know of,

1)

Go to sql server 2005 Configuration Manager

Under Network Configuration/Protocol for MSSQLServerw make sure that
TCP/IP is enabled

Next, when you create the connection, make sure that you use port 1433,
as my installation at least, defaulted to this port.

make sure you also enable remote connections to AS2k% from the surface area
configuration utility
