Default Excel Add-in For SSAS - Currency format doesn't show decimals - 02-01-2006 , 08:45 PM

Hi,
I have an SSAS 2005 cube with a measure formatted as Currency. Control
Panel > Regional and Language Settings on the machine are the English (United
States) default, so Currency should show 2 decimal places eg $419.40.

In the Excel Add-in for SSAS, with the Server-defined formatting enabled,
the measure is formatted as Currency, but without decimal places, eg $419
rather than $419.40.

An obvious workaround is to hit the $ button in Excel, which correctly
applies the machine's default Currency format. But the incorrect Currency
formatting is reapplied whenever fresh data is added from SSAS.

Excel environment is Excel 2003 SP2, with Excel Add-in for SQL Server
Analysis Services 1.5.0166.0. OS is Windows Server 2003 SP1.

Can anyone assist?
Tx Mike.
