I can not create free form report.
There is an error and excel says that it does not recognize function name.
On the functions list there are any of new functions witch should come with
add-in.

no problem with structured reports,
need help,
Kamil

PS.
I use Polish edition of Excel XP SP3

It seems like Excel doesn't see any reference to new functions introduced by
add-in

I experienced problems with free form and MS Excel 2002 (XP) if the
"old" cubecellvalue add in /function is installed. After deinstalling
cubecellvalue everything worked fine.

Regarding the new functions (CUBECELLMEMBER, CUBECELLPROPERTY,
CUBECELLVALUE) - in the insert function menu, can you select a
category ReportBuilderAddIn.Functions ?

When I integrate the cubecellvalue formula with excel formula it give #VALUE! error. Can anyone advice on this?

eg: =CUBECELLVALUE("sgsgp01as01 OutputBudget CU_Outputbudget","[Measures].[Amt Loc]",$A7,$B$6,"Year.E"&right($B$2,4),$C$5,$B$4)

As pointed out before, I experience this problem as long as the old
CubeCellValue AddIn and the new ReportBuilderAddIn are installed. They
both provide a function called CubeCellValue. Unfortunatly they are
not the same (especially setting and saving the connection is
different). If I deinstall the (old) CubeCellValue Add In everything
works fine with the new ReportBuilderAddIn function. If both are
present, converting a structured report to free form gives me #VALUE
error messages.

Hi,

I had not installed the old cubecellvalue addin before. I had only newly installed the new add-in and the free form report is not working well. It's work fine when I dun integrate with other excel function. for example

Page Filter :
Year : List of Year (A2003, A2004, A2005)

if I select A2003, I wanted to change the year to E2003 in the cubecellvalue filter to extract E2003 data. It work fine initially when I put in the formula but when the page filter is change, the cell return #value error. I need to double click on the cell and press enter in order for it to display correct value. It gave "User-deinfed type not defined" error. It seem to work but only after i double click on every cells and press enter.

Hi,

It seem like the formula is not very useful compare to the pivot table without those excel formula. Can you advice how you do it by couple of extra cells? Because i couldn't make it to work even I use the formula in one cell and reference the cell in the cubecellvalue formula. Thank!

Please check the release notes. Unfortunately the concatenation isn't
supported. Although by using a couple extra cells you should still be able to
do what you want.

A quick example using the Foodmart 2000 Sales cube:

A1 =CUBECELLVALUE("localhost Foodmart 2000 Sales",B1)
B1 ="Gender."&C1
C1 All Gender.M

Hope this helps!
