Default Excel add-in not passing page filter parameter to sp_prepexec - 08-19-2005 , 03:30 PM

The excel add-in is ignoring the page filter when issuing the drillthrough
request. I tested this on the Foodmart cubes, and it works fine there but I
realized the underlying data source is Access, not SQL. The browser within
Analysis Manager does pass the page filter to the sp_prepexec, so I'm
assuming this is a bug in the Excel Add-in and not something wrong with my
cube. Has anybody had issues with this. It is a showstopper for us, but I
can't find any postings on the web referencing it as a known issue like the
partition problem.
