Hi,

We have noticed that the excel add-in seems to bring back a lot more
data in the Free Form mode as opposed to the Structured format. These
tests have been done for the same MDX query. In some cases I have seen
that the same Free form report is 4 times slower than the corresponding
Structured report. After running every query, I closed down excel to
clear any local cache.

One more observation, the data returned (in bytes) by the Structured
format report is the same that in pro clarity. I have used the
Performance moniter on AS to get Total Bytes returned by each query.
For customisation purposes we need the reports in Free Form, sadly the
performance is not acceptable.

Please let me know if anyone has a solution/suggestion to work around
this.
