error while connnecting to OLAP Cube

I am using AS 2000 Cube to fill pivot table in excel.while i refresh the pivot table,it throws error 'The connection could not be made as the target machine actively refuse it'.The same pivot table is refreshing in my collegue system. kindly help me to solve this issue.

do you specify the provider version in the connectionstring?
provider=MSOLAP.2
