When you attempt to connect through Analysis Manager, the following error
message is displayed even though you are a member of the OLAP Administrators
security group:
Unable to connect to the registry on the server (SERVERNAME), or you are not
a member of the OLAP Administrators group this server.
iam using sql server 2000 with service pack 2.0 . i haven't installed
service pack for analysis manager .i have already tried the installation in
another system with sql server , analysis services & service pack for sql
server . that was in windows . the error is in Xp machine . is there any
connection on OS?

Is the machine running Analysis Manager in the same domain with the server
running AS?
