Hi Group, My question is the following one: Some limit of members exists that can have a dimension?. If it is thus, whatever is the limit? Thanks |

There is a limit to the number of members a dimension can have, and that limit is 64000. -- Jacco Schalkwijk SQL Server MVP "Francisco Birrer" <fbirrerd (AT) exxis (DOT) cl> wrote in message news:%23Xn7ziCRFHA.1980 (AT) TK2MSFTNGP10 (DOT) phx.gbl... This isn't quite true. The most children members any parent member can have is 64,000. You can have dimensions with millions of members, as long as any parent member doesn't have more than 64,000 children. And with grouping, you CAN have a parent have more than 64,000 child members, you just need to set up that grouping.
