Default Error Unable to count the members - 04-18-2005 , 10:11 AM

Hi Group,
My question is the following one: Some limit of members exists that can have
a dimension?. If it is thus, whatever is the limit?
Thanks

There is a limit to the number of members a dimension can have, and that
limit is 64000.

Because it has that limit?
Exists some form in which I can increase limits?
As it controls the Computer?

This isn't quite true. The most children members any parent member can have
is 64,000. You can have dimensions with millions of members, as long as any
parent member doesn't have more than 64,000 children. And with grouping, you
CAN have a parent have more than 64,000 child members, you just need to set
up that grouping.

Sorry, I meant to post this article that explains how to do this grouping.

Here:

Good luck.
