Hi,
This is a correction to my initial post:

I have MSAS project wich properly browses the data,dimensions and attribute
hierarchies when I logged in as the administrator.

When I use the "Change User" which brings the "Security Context - Dimension
Security" window and use the "Other user" option and select a local user
that i
created in my machine, I have also created a role that restricts this user
from browsing certain dimension members, when I entered the domain/login
such as marty2/david account into the text box, I got this error:


"The following system error occurred: A device attached to the system is
not functioning. . (Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services) "

Any ideas on how to troubleshoot are very welcome!
