Default Error -2147221411 when processing partition using script? - 04-08-2005 , 09:59 PM

I've been running vb script "dsoPartition.Process 1" to process partition.

However, I got the error -2147221411 when process the partition. And the
Err.Description is empty. What does it means?

Btw, the olap Analysis Service Manager cannot show any Window (Edit Wizard,
etc), just nothing happen when selecting the function that need to popup
window. Also it eats a lot of memory after expand the Cube to show all
partitions.... Any clue? Thanks.

Did you ever get anyhwere on this? I have encountered the same problem
today. It is the first cube I tried to build and got this error so went
through the tutorial and got exactly the same error number when I tried to
process that. It leads me to think it is something to do with my set up or
permissions rather than anything to do with the structure of the cube.

I have no partitions in either db so think your concern about this happening
telling you about a partition may be a red herring.

Cheers
