Default Enumerate available LAN OLAP servers - 07-22-2004 , 04:48 PM





Hi Guys,

I'm trying to enumerate available OLAP servers on the LAN. I know there are
numerous ways to enumerate available SQL Servers, but I'm unable to find
something similar for OLAP Servers. The only information I found so far is
that MS OLAP Servers listen by default on ports 2393 and 2394, but nothing
more. Is there a way to send particular udp broadcast message and get answer
from the OLAP servers?
