We ran MSAS on SQLserver 2000 SP3a
After updating a dimension, the olap service crashed almost immediately
generating
msg in pop-up window:
The procedure entry point MinidumpWriteDump could not located in the dll
dbghelp.dll
Rebooting did not solve the problem.
I saw on the internet that dbghelp.dll should be located in subfolder bin
subfolder of
MSAS\bin. Copying dbghelp stops popping up errormsg, generaring dump files
of 55kb constantly.
What are possibilities
