Default Encryption in OLAP - 12-09-2005 , 03:10 AM

Hi,

I need to encrypt a column of data within my sqlserver database,
however I also require the field to be part of the data set on drill
through, how do I prompt for the user to supply the de-encryption key
in order to display a meaningful data set. I am using Analysis services
as my OLAP tool and SQL Server 2000.

Hope someone can help...

Hi,
You might be able to do it by creating an action within your cube.
