Unless you have a client tool that supports writeback, then you must control
writeback using ADOMD. This requires you to set up an ado connection and any
updates must be done within a transaction, this can only be done at the leaf
level. If you want to update at the agregate level then you can use the
update cube statement and do some kind of allocation to the leaf level
cells.
Hope that helps

Hi! I've enabled a cube for write-back by right clicking
the cube and selecting "...enable write-back".
The problem is that now i still can't modify data. Am i
missing something? What do i have to do to enable and use
write-back?
Thanks in advance! |
