Default Dynamic Security (using Virtual Cubes) / Drillthrough - Problem - 04-24-2006 , 11:59 AM

Hi there,

I am experiencing a problem when attempting to drillthrough on a Virtual
Cube, after implementing Dynamic Security with a Shared Dimension plus fact
Cube plus security Cube (Dynamic Security example 2).

I get the error "Unable to drillthrough. Dimension security on dimension
[Dimension] does not support this drillthrough". I feel sure that this
worked in the past, when we had SP3a installed, but now that SP4 is
installed, I get this error message. I found a similar message on a KB
article, and installed the following additional SP, but it still fails:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=907323.
I notice that there is also an add-on service pack for SQL Server SP4 too -
should I have installed that at the same time?

I have read Mosha's response to a similar query, but if I select down to the
lowest level then I get "Unable to drillthrough. Access denied to the cube
[CubeName]."

Many thanks, Nigel.
