Hi,

I want to know if you have tested this type of solution to create dynamic
security in a cube:
* My database contains the list of users and, for each user, the list of
organization units authorized.
* 1 user can have access to 1 or more OU

Now, in my cube, each user is restrict to its authorized OUs + the parents
in the OU dimension.

I want to create a cube wich contain the list of OUs by user:
* 2 dimensions in the cube --> OU & User

I'll use this cube to dynamically filter the OU dimension in my other cubes
for the active user.

Do you think this will have a big impact on the performance?
Do you think it could achivied, if yes, what type of formula I've to use?
does it cell level security or dimension filtering?

Actually, each OU has a Windows NT group associated, and for the moment I
create 1 role by OU and I link this role to the right Windows NT group, but
when I've 200 OUs, the process is huge and long.
So I'm looking for a new solution, my second choice is a script or custom
program to apply the security in the cubes (to automatically create these
roles)

can you share your experience?
