Default Dynamic Levels - 01-02-2005 , 04:11 PM

Hi,
I am using a front end tool that lets me define sets, calculated
members and cell calculations and I want to be able to enter a query
whereby I change the original structure of a dimension.

ie. Product Group, Product is the original structure

I want to change it:

ie. Sale Group (on/off), Product Group, Product

This is important so that I can show a total of sales broken down by
on/off sale, then have the ability to drill into either on or off to
show the products that contribute to the totals.

I can use calculated members to show a "total" calculation for on or
off sale, but there is no drill down availble because there is no
underlying level.

I have a basic understanding of cell calculations so I am aware of how
I can "overwrite" cell values, but I'm unsure if I can create a
"hidden" level underneath the all level then somehow bring this into
play to invoke the new level.
Any help would be most appreciated!

Thanks,
Peter
