DSO Connection Error - 07-02-2003 , 12:01 PM

I am trying to use DSO to connect to my server and keep getting a connection
error. Is this because my server name starts with a numeric?
My server name is "234-ED\JHC". Can someone confirm this for me!

Any help would be welcome.
