Default Drillthrough in a Virtual Cube - 03-10-2005 , 11:19 AM

Is any possibility to work with drillthrough option in a Virtual Cube?

In OnLine documentation for MS SQL Server for SP3 is a new information about
drillthrough options for a virtual cube.
Is it true?

I've build Virtual Cube from 2 cubes. In this cubes is set option drillthrouh.
In Analysis Manger in Virtual Cube Editor on the Tools Menu I have only
"Process Virtual Cube" whithout any possibilities.

I've installed MS SQL Server 2000 and Analysis Services Developer Edition
with SP3a.
In "About MS SQL Server 2000 Analysis Services" is Version 8.0.760.

Could any guru help me?

Assuming that drill-through is enabled in all cubes that are included in
the virtual cube, you should be able do drillthrough. Please note that
this option is accessed at a different location for a virtual cube
(under Advanced tab of Properties) than for a regular cube (under
Tools):

How to specify drillthrough options for a virtual cube
...
In the Analysis Manager tree pane, right-click the virtual cube for
which you want to enable drillthrough and click Edit. If the properties
pane is not expanded in Virtual Cube Editor, expand it by clicking
Properties beneath the tree pane.

Click the Advanced tab of the properties pane, and then click the value
next to the Enable Drillthrough property.

Click True to enable drillthrough for the virtual cube.
