Default Drillthrough / Time Dimension / Financial cube - 02-11-2004 , 03:55 PM

Hi All

How does drill through work with a calculated member column - if I for
example have
a column that gives me YTD when User chooses to drill through per a specific
date
for example 30'th of juni 2003 I would llike to se alle records for the
first six months.

It doesn't seem to be the result of the drill through - it only returns the
result for the
time dimension chosen (I'm standing on second quarter of 2003).

Sorry If my explanation isn't enough.

Drillthrough does't work with Calculated member. You should be looking at
using Actions instead.

Hi Thierry

Thanks a lot - didn't know actions could do that....

How does the drillthrough select sentence work with degenerate dimensions ?

When referencing a measure I would write [Measures].[Amount] and so forth
.... how do I reference InvoiceNum for instance which is
not a dimension ?

Ooopsss....so simple so simple.

I just do not write anything ... the drill through settings take care of
it...

Excuse my ignorance...
