drillthrough System.InvalidCastException: Specified cast is not va - 06-04-2005 , 11:14 AM

If you're doing a drillthrough to a field that contains strange characters,
you may receive the following error:

System.InvalidCastException: Specified cast is not valid.

Upgrading to MDAC 2.8 SP1 fixes the problem. This happened under SQL 2000 AS
SP3a.
