Hello, Do you mean you failed to drill through the cell when you change the period to be a specific date? In the Sample database FordMart 2000, I performed some tests on the sales cube with Time dimension having the date level. It seems I am able to drill through the cell when the period to be a specific date. It is appreciated you can repro the same problem on FoodMart 2000. In addition, I found the following article for your reference. How to specify drillthrough options for a regular cube http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...us/olapdmad/ag htcubopt_6pnp.asp Thank you, Michael Shao Microsoft Online Partner Support Get Secure! - www.microsoft.com/security This posting is provided "as is" with no warranties and confers no rights. |

Michael, and other experts. That is what I mean. If I leave the Period dimension at the All level I can drill through perfectly fine. However if I change this Period dimension to anything other than All I receive the following error message. Unable to drill through. Data source provider error. Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'from'.;42000 I have checked within FoodMart2000 and it seems I can drill down on the demo cube at all date levels. What am I doing wrong? My cube is very simple... A single fact table.. With one measure = Units.. 3 dimensions Period, Leave Type, Employee.. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Michael, I have found a post you made regarding this problem on the following web page: http://www.webservertalk.com/message167209.html I will see if changing to ODBC rather than OLE DB fixes the issue.
