Default Drillthrough - 07-06-2006 , 10:22 AM

Can someone tell me if it possible to conditionally hide a drillthrough
column based on the role or user accessing the cube? Basically i want
to enable drillthrough as a default but then hide one or more columns
of sensitive data based on the role or user.

This would help immensely and avoid the need to duplicate the cube and
disable drillthrough.

unfortuntly you can't manage the security at the drillthrough level.

do you have developped you own application to do the drillthrough?
with AS2005 you can execute the drillthrough you want without creating it in
the cube definition.
so you can add/remove columns by code before you execute the drillthrough.
in this case you have to manage the security outside AS using your own code.
